People make it happen

Designing for a better world.

Curiosity has always been the driving force behind the industrial- and digital product design at Design-People. Ever since 2005, we have been asking the questions that take our clients’ businesses to the next level. We prioritize understanding the needs, motivations, and barriers for each user in order to find out where the meaningful value lies for the business.

We know design isn’t just about making a product easy on the eyes. Our goal is to simplify and improve product experiences by applying a strategic design thinking approach to our work. In the end, we believe this leads to better solutions for people and for the planet.

The evolution of Migatronic's design language

In 2007 Migatronic and Design-People established an award winning design line for their welding machines. Since then Migatronic products have used colors and design elements from the guide to achieve a common look & feel. Now Design-People have rethinked and future proofed the design line and the according design guide. A refreshment of the Migatronic design in terms of design trends in the welding business and related industries - to stay ahead of the competition. An evolution rather than a revolution to still maintain strong links to the existing products. An update of design principles to make them support future requirements for modularity, effective manufacturing and logistics.

New innovative features

The new design guide includes a number of new innovative features. Here are some of the highlights. The robust handles not only provide a secure grip but also introduce a vibrant green hue to encourage user interaction. Meanwhile, the sleek cabinet silhouette boasts perfect angles, reflecting strength and durability while eliminating dead space with an 8-degree slope. The precisely positioned control panel, set at a 41-degree angle, ensures optimal visibility and effortless operation. Adding to the user-friendly experience, an embedded LED-lit on/off button speaks a familiar language through its green, yellow, and red markings, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
